Does Spotify show the history of tracks that were once in a playlist?

No. when a track is removed from a playlist, it is no longer possible to find out that the track has ever been in the playlist.

At what frequency does Playlist History check for changes?

Every night at 12AM (GMT) all playlists are checked for changes.

Are all playlist checked for changes by Playlist History?

No, only the playlists you add will be checked for changes.

Why is the history of a playlists empty when I start checking for changes?

Because we only start tracking changes when you add the playlist. It is possible that someone else has already added the same public playlist. Then it is possible that you will already see changes.

We check every day if there are any changes to the playlists. When a playlist has been modified, all additions and deletions are shown in an overview. It is also possible to automatically add all new tracks to a (new) playlist.
